Synopsis:  Not able to make it to this year’s national conference? Then this is the Chapter meeting for you! Presented by the KCALA representatives, who attended the 2009 ALA National Conference and Educational Exposition, come learn about the fun, information and education offered at this year’s event. Attend this meeting to cheer on and applaud the awards earned by you and your local KCALA Chapter. 

Chapter President, Teri Young will present on what she learned at conference -- "Work Like Your Dog - Make it Fun.” Gayla Kellogg will report on what she learned at the Plaintiff Firm’s Idea Exchange and how this information can benefit all firms – both plaintiff and defense. Discover the latest Excel tricks and tips from Chris Sztorch and the functionality this software can offer in the law firm setting. Shirley Mitchell will report about what is new in diversity efforts on the national level. Learn about Legal Ethics from Sharlyne Narr and what other firms are doing. Learn even more of how other law firms across the nation are addressing the latest in HR, Financial and Communication challenges. 

To cap off the meeting, Karen Griggs, Region 3 Director, will introduce the new, National ALA Logo and tagline.
